The good news: Syracuse secured a big win Wednesday night that seriously boosted it's postseason resume. The bad news, Syracuse won't play another game in the tournament, and likely will not make March Madness.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Thursday that it will not play the rest of the ACC Tournament.

This comes a day after unranked Syracuse took down the University of North Carolina 81-53.

It was a big win that would have been a nice notch on the team's belt and continued the team's hopes of grabbing the tournament and an automatic bid to the Big Dance.

However, with an 18-14 record, it's unlikely the Orange will make the tournament, which NCAA officials announced Wednesday would be closed to fans.

NCAA.com's Andy Katz does not have Syracuse in his projected March Madness field, and several other annalists do not have the Orange in their last four teams in.
