A New Disorder Your Cat May Suffer From

Who doesn’t worry about their pets every once in a while? Maybe throughout the day they pop into your head at work. If you think you may have a sick cat, your cat might just have anxiety issues.

According to a new study from Ohio State University, stress can cause a healthy cat to appear sick. Researchers found that healthy cats were just as likely as sick cats to throw up frequently, refuse food and go to the bathroom outside their litter box if there was a change in their normal routine, such as a different feeding schedule or caretaker.

So next time your cat acts up, in my cat Elliot’s case goes completely nuts throughout the house, maybe I’ll just consider he’s suffering from anxiety issues! Next thing we know they will say our pets have eating disorders!
