$50 Broadway Tickets Available Through March Thanks to Coronavirus
Broadway shows in New York City are the next industry to take a hit from the Coronavirus outbreak and are now offering $50 tickets.
ABC 7 reports that Broadway shows are feeling the impact of the coronavirus. So much so that they are severely discounting tickets. Five different shows are offering slashed ticket prices starting March 12, 2020, through March 29, 2020.
According to ABC 7, the shows that are participating in the discounted tickets are To Kill A Mockingbird, West Side Story, The Lehman Trilogy, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and The Book of Mormon. All the tickets will be $50 for performances through the end of March. Typically, tickets are about $200 for these shows.
Broadway isn't the only New York City industry that is taking a hit from the coronavirus. ABC 7 reports that the majority of corporate events have been canceled or postponed in New York City in the next two weeks. Weddings could also see changes like less passed foods.
