Some of the coldest locations in the world are warmer than CNY this week compared to our springtime temperatures.

Wait until you see these notoriously cold locations that are WARMER than we are! OMG! We might go right into Summer and miss Spring altogether.

Central New York is still expecting light snow in our forecast mixing with and changing to rain in most places. Additional light accumulations are possible this week, especially over the higher elevations. Our high temperatures will be around 40 with lows reaching 27 degrees.

Here are five locations with a reputation for being quite fridged, but they're still warmer than CNY this week.

Anchorage, Alaska

Anchorage is super lucky and just might see 50 degrees this week.

Fargo, North Dakota

Fargo will see that bright warm thing in the sky (we can't remember the name of it) to warm them up to 51 degrees.

Siberia, Russia

The Russians pack away the fur when it warms up to 60 degrees this week.

Newfoundland, Canada

It's high 40's for the Canadians this week. Aye!

Reykjavik, Iceland

Even Iceland makes it into the upper 40's this week leaving Utica in the dust.
