The Gluten-Free Diet "fad" is quite a hot topic.  Yes, for people that are legitimately "intolerant" to gluten, finding gluten-free food is a real necessity.  But for everyone else, it's a medical grey area.  Everyone seems to have an opinion, and even scientists seem to be divided.  Regardless of where you stand on the issue, this is just funny...

The music is the work of comedy singers Dave Hopping and Brian Richard Smith, who have a bunch of other great parody songs on their YouTube page.  They're based in Philadephia, but they're no strangers to Central New York.  The duo met at a summer camp in Rome.  Dave Hopping graduated from Rome Free Academy and Syracuse University.  Brian Richard Smith graduated from Lowville high school.  In fact, this video was filmed in Cazenovia.

Hopping says his old roommate from Syracuse University, Cazenovia High School teacher Jason Hyatt, shot and edited the three-and-a-half minute opus. Footage includes scenes at Cazenovia Lake, the Pewter Spoon Cafe, Owaghena Pizzeria and the Lincklaen House. (Syracuse.com)
