Work At The New York State Fair This Summer

The state Department of Agriculture and Markets, Division of the State Fair is looking for people to work in temporary employment for this summer and during this year's annual New York State Fair August 22 - September 3, 2018.

The 2018 Job Fair will be held at the New York State Fairgrounds:

Friday, June 8, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 9:00 am  to 1:00 pm

What to bring with you:

• If you are under the age of 18, you must bring a valid original New York State Working Papers.
• Two forms of unexpired identification, see the attached
• Veterans must bring a copy of their DD-214

You will be interviewing for a variety of assignments including general labor/maintenance, customer service, parking attendants, gate staff, and cashiers. The inability to work all the days of the State Fair will limit available assignments. the work hours, the rate of pay and duration of employment varies by assignment. Applicants may be subject to background investigations/criminal history checks. The Department of Agriculture and Markets does not directly employ the food vendors nor concessionaires.
