Beyonce recently admitted to lip-synching Obama's Inauguration and is speaking out about it. But, that begs the question, will she lip-sync this weekend's Super Bowl Half Time Show too? Checkout the footage of her admittal below as well as her answer to our question:

"I am a perfectionist . . . I practice 'til my feet bleed, and I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra.  It was a live television show, and a very very important, emotional show for me, one of my proudest moments. And due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound-check I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the president and the inauguration, and I wanted to make him and my country proud, so I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry and I'm very proud of my performance."

As for the Super Bowl Half-time Show,

"I will absolutely be singing live.  I am well-rehearsed . . . this is what I was born to do, what I'm born for."

Um, I gotta call B/S on this one... Nobody EVER sings the half-time show live for precisely the reasons she mentioned above and for the massive amounts of production (sound equipment, lighting, pyro, video elements, extras, dancers, staging) that have to be loaded in in seconds, work flawlessly and torn down in seconds. She was likely advised by her publicist to say that on account of not turning any viewers away. But she's right about one thing, she's a consummate entertainer and that's why she got the gig. At her level, you bring it and blow people away whether you lip-sync or not.
