If you live in New York your favorite Valentine candy comes in a heart-shaped red box with chocolate covered caramel candy inside or conversation hearts.

Around 40 million boxes of chocolate will be purchased for Valentines Day. The candy of choice in those boxes will be conversation hearts, or chocolate covered caramel, 69% of people prefer chocolate.

There is a new king of Valentine Day Candies and that would be conversation hearts. Conversation hearts have overtaken heart-shaped boxes of chocolates so says candystore.com. Maybe a DIY gift might be a little more original this year.
