Former Waterville resident Mallory Gilchrist Coffman and Roc-Star Ice Cream & Eatery will be featured on an upcoming episode of 'House Hunters International' on HGTV.

Coffman, who graduated from Waterville High School in 2007, and her husband, Garrett, contacted the show last year after making the decision to move to Grenada.

'We watch the show all the time,' Coffman said. She thought it would be fun to be on the show, which pairs home hunters with real estate agents, to search for their new home in Grenada, where her husband attends veterinary school.

In July, the show’s crew visited Waterville to put together a biography on Coffman, who spent about two years working at Roc-Star Ice Cream, owned by Robert “Roc” Langone. They show typically features a “send-off” party before the house hunters leave for their new home and there was no better place to have it than at Roc-Star, Coffman said. 'My family goes there all the time. I thought it would be really fun to do it there.'

'I was honored,' Langone said of being included in Coffman’s story.

Filming moved to Grenada in August, where the Coffman’s successfully found a home.

'It was great. We found a place quickly. We’re in it now, and we love it.'

The episode is scheduled to air Monday, Jan. 26 at 8:30 p.m. on HGTV and 3:30am tomorrow, January 27th.

Coffman, who hasn’t seen any of the episode yet, says they plan to watch the show with friends Monday night.
