Warning From Oneida Police Department

Protect yourself from thieves and lock up your car and belongings!

The Oneida City Police have received numerous reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles. Many of these reports were in the area Middle Road, Union St, and the Kenwood area.

We would like to ask any residents in that general area, who may have cameras, to please check their cameras for any slow moving vehicles or people checking their vehicles, between the hours of 9 pm (Tuesday) and 5 am (Wednesday).
We would also like to remind residents that locking your vehicles and removing any valuables could deter becoming a victim of these types of crimes.
