Utica Traffic Advisory for Today

A travel advisory is in effect for Utica today.

According to a written release from the New York State Department of Transportation, Lafayette Street between State Street and Varick Street will be closed to traffic from
7:00am until 3:00pm today, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 .

The closure is to permit bridge construction work on the Route 5, 8, and 12 North / South Arterial.

Signed detours will be in place.

Drivers are advised to use extra caution in the area.
