Plans for the 2018 St. Patrick's Day parade in Utica are set to make it one of the largest celebrations in Utica's history.

If you thought parties in the past celebrating St Patricks Day were big just wait for this year.  Varick Street will double in size with twice as many people and it will be the party of the year. It may even surpass New Years, the 4th of July and Thanksgiving all rolled into one.

If you and your organization would like to be in the parade there 's still time to get in on the fun. Parade applications are now being accepted through February 24th. The cost for non-profit organizations, elected officials, schools, school bands, cost $25 all others $100.
