The Comets rolled over the Crunch Saturday night at the Adirondack Bank Center 4-2.

Reid Boucher got the evening going and got the Comets on the board in the first period. Darren Archibald extended the lead to 2-0 just three minutes into the second period.

The Crunch was not planning to go quietly with Jonne Tammela cut the lead to 2-1 with a power-play goal of his own. Boucher put the Comets up 3-1 with 5:53 left in the second period and Darcy made it 4-1 two minutes later.

Bournival scored 29 seconds into the third period to pull the Crunch to within two. Demko shut the door on the Crunch stopping 19 shots on goal in the process. Demko finished with 40 saves to improve his record to 16-7-5.

We're deep into the season and the Comets will take on the Hartford Wolf Pack for the final time this season, the puck drops at 7 pm Wednesday evening.
