Toddler Falls From Second Floor Window in Herkimer

A 2-year old boy was injured Tuesday night after falling from a second-floor window on South Washington Street in Herkimer.

Police say the boy was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

He was then transported to a Syracuse hospital for further treatment of what police say are apparent non-life threatening injuries.

Herkimer Police and the Herkimer County District Attorney's Office are investigating the incident.
