Today more than 2.4 million wreaths were placed on veterans’ headstones at 3,136 locations across the United States.

Ceremonies will be held Saturday, December 19 in Rome, Oriskany Falls, and Westernville.

The entire nation is very aware of Veteran's Day and Memorial Day, but every third December another lesser-known remembrance day is held
