Democrats are trying to redraw congressional districts in New York State, which State Senator Joe Griffo says will undermine the will of voters.

A judge has ruled that there is not enough time to redraw the district maps in time for Election 2022 in New York.

Last week, an acting NYS Supreme Court Justice in Steuben County ruled the newly drawn Congressional and Legislative districts in the state to be unconstitutional and must be redrawn immediately. But, after an appeal, everything is back in limbo.

State lawmakers have voted to approved new Congressional districts that will give Democrats an advantage in nearly all of New York's House districts over the next decade.

New York State Senator Joe Griffo might as well be telling people that Santa Claus is about to make another run through the area to double us up on gifts. I'd say the chances are better of that happening than his request that the majority in New York's Senate and Assembly do the "right" thing when it comes to redistricting.
