The wait is finally over. The Angry Smokehouse is open in Central New York after a lengthy delay in renovations.

Asian anyone? The wait is over. A new sushi restaurant has finally opened in the former Moe's in North Utica.

There has been a lot of construction being done on the New York State Thruway Rest Areas and finally, we are starting to see some of the rest stops being completed. Although the first rest area is open, this is one of the smaller versions of what the other ones will look like. The Indian Castle rest area just 90 minutes west of Albany is beautiful with a Popeye's and Starbucks inside. It boasts a Starbucks drive-thru and a convenience store featuring a variety of New York state products.

On Friday during a conference call, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said all New York bowling alleys can reopen with 50 percent occupancy. Every customer and worker is required to wear a face covering and every other lane must be closed.

Portions of New York are preparing for Phase Two, opening more businesses, including retail, hair salons and offices Friday, May 29th.
