Study Says Central New York Ladies Are Happier Single with No Kids

Well. This is interesting. According to a new study, single women with no kids are the happiest in the world.

Maybe your knee jerk reaction to this is that you love your hubby and your kids SO much, this couldn't possibly be the case. Or maybe you just think you're SUPPOSED to say that.

If we're being totally honest - there was something pretty stress-free and fun about being single - before we had kids. Just like we didn't realize how awesome it was to not have to go to work and pay taxes...it's just better.

Think about how great it was to just lounge around on the weekends, eating ice cream out of the container, not having to shower if you didn't want to - and not having little people watch you while you pee and demand your attention. Remember those days?

The study - from the London School of Economics - says that not only are single, kidless women happier - they live longer. 

In another finding that basically explains the whole "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" thing: married men are happier than single men, and live longer. Every married woman on the planet just said NO DUH. Guys who have a wife to cook, clean, and generally tell them when something they're about to do might kill them, live longer? YOU DON'T SAY.
