State Police Arrest Suspect In Rome Road Rage Incident

State Police have arrested a man who was involved in a “road rage” incident on Route 49 in Rome near the Griffiss Park entrance on November 26th.

52-year old Sean McGuigan of Rome is charged with menacing, reckless driving and criminal possession of a weapon.

Troopers say McGuigan allegedly threw was believed to be an axe at the driver’s side window of the other vehicle after trying to run the vehicle off the road.

State Police are thanking the public for their assistance in identifying McGuigan.
