While the rest of the world will enjoy delicious donuts from Dunkin Donuts this National Donut Day, somewhere in the world someone is enjoying Spam doughnuts.

John Clarkson has decided this year to shake up traditional doughnuts with canned Spam in Lancashire.

The meaty sweet and savoury battered snacks take just four minutes to make and fry and are cooked to order for £2.50 a piece. Mr Clarkson, who runs the Mister Eaters chip shop said: 'I have always loved Spam - it’s bloody beautiful and I don’t think it gets enough recognition."

I don't understand it, but rumor has it that these taste delicious. Good thing they are overseas. According to the Daily Mail, these gems are selling like hotcakes.
