The beautiful eclipse we saw yesterday is now a precious memory. Today we're in for some very severe weather according to the National Weather Service out of Binghamton.

Central New York will have a cold front pushing out all this humidity and stickiness this afternoon. When the two collide, that's when the trouble starts. Who remembers Vernon Downs the day of the 38 Special concert? Tornadoes ripped through the area leaving many wondering not only what to heck is going on but is there going to be a show.

Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening ahead of a cold front. A significant severe weather event is likely with this activity. The primary threat from these storms will be damaging winds although large hail and an isolated tornado are also possible. Heavy rain may also occur which could cause urban and poor drainage
flooding along with isolated flash flooding.

It's another 360 again tomorrow with a mix of sun and clouds and a high in the mid 70's.
