Just when you thought it was safe to go back to viewing commercials, here comes Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ dished out in a brand new way.

A new ad campaign for The Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino of Las Vegas brings the Queen classic back into light with a twist. At first, no music is played, instead, the song lyrics are used as dialogue between characters in the ad.

It’s all a mock dramatic exchange of lines until the principal character in the ad hits a falsetto note on the line ‘Let Me Go’ as the spoken word dialogue transforms into the song’s musical climax.

The spot, titled ‘Let Me Go,’ (obviously after the line in the song) first came to our attention during last night’s (Feb. 12) Grammy Awards. The tag line of the Cosmopolitan ad campaign, ‘Just The Right Amount Of Wrong,’ updates that standard ‘whatever happens in Vegas’ tagline somewhat. And it seems classic rock never dies, it just gets recycled into commercials! The Cosmopolitan has previously used music by such disparate artist as Parov Stelar and The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in various ads.

Now we ask you…will you do the fandango?
