Pet Photos with Santa to Help CNY Animals Find Homes for the Holidays

Is your pet on the naughty or the nice list? It may still be October, but it's time to start thinking about when and where your furry (or not so furry) friends are going to meet jolly ole St. Nick.

Luckily, Stevens-Swan Humane Society is dedicating a weekend in November to capturing your pets' photo with Santa, and it's all for a great cause. Bring all kinds of pets to meet Santa Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. I hope this means I can bring my fish....

Santa will be at American Legion Post 229 in Utica both days, along with a bake sale and basket raffles. Photo packages start at just $5, and all proceeds benefit local shelter animals who are looking for their fur-ever homes for the holidays.

Remember, while all pets are welcome, dogs, cats and ferrets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations. Find all the details before the big weekend on Stevens-Swan's website.
