‘Orphan Black’ Season 3: BBC America Renews For 2015
Fans of BBC America's clone-tastic 'Orphan Black' have been waiting with bated breath for some major announcements in recent weeks, and thankfully, the most important has arrived. Yes, 'Orphan Black' has officially been renewed for a third season this coming 2015, putting Tatiana Maslany in the spotlight once again as Sarah, Alison, Cosima, Helena, Rachel and yes, even Tony.
The network announced the critically-acclaimed clone drama's renewal at their TCA 2014 press tour panel, though we've yet to hear for certain if 'Orphan Black' will put in an appearance at Comic-Con 2014. In any case, no one should exactly be surprised by the renewal, as despite relatively meager ratings and a delayed announcement, series lead Tatiana Maslany recently won her second consecutive Critics Choice award for the role(s).
For those who missed out on ‘Orphan Black’ season 2, the most recent run incorporated ‘Suits‘ star and fan Patrick J. Adams, along with 'The Killing‘ alum Michelle Forbes and ‘Game of Thrones‘ addition Michiel Huisman, all the while exploring some of the deeper conspiracies behind the "Project Leda" clone outfit, and "Prolethean" religious sects. We won't spoil everything for you exactly, but we'd expect season 3 sees a bit of company for Tatiana Maslany at the next Clone Club meeting.
Because you've earned it, and there was no way around this, treat yourself to a clone dance party below, and tell us what you want to see from 'Orphan Black' season 3 in the comments!
