The Utica Zoo has several new baby animals on exhibit.

The most recent additions are three Trans-Caspian Urial lambs, a species of sheep found in the Middle East and Central Asia that were born on April 29th.  The Urial is listed as a Threatened species due to habitat loss.

The zoo also has a pair of African Crested Porcupines born in mid-March who recently emerged from their den.

And five Nigerian Dwarf Goat kids arrived from a local farm to join the Children's Zoo, along with their mothers.

The Urials are found in the Asian realm portion of the zoo, directly next to the Bactrian Camels, while the porcupines are located next to the African Lions.

Meanwhile, moms will get free admission to the Utica Zoo on Mother's Day.
