
Nearly Half Of Consumers Say They Eat A Burger Once A Week
Despite the fact that everybody's talking about obesity and heart disease, people still are eating more hamburgers than ever.

According to a new survey, nearly half of consumers (48 percent) say they eat a burger at least once a week, compared with 38 percent in 2009. 36 percent of respondents say "cravings" are the big reason for their most recent burger purchase.
The love for burgers isn't totally unhealthy. Nearly a quarter of young adults are interested in vegetarian burger options and people are increasingly asking for all-natural, hormone-free, steroid-free and antibiotic-free beef.
I could never eat a vegetarian burger, I love a nice smoked piece of meat!
