Name of Victim of Fatal Fire in Vienna Released

The victim of a fatal fire in Vienna, New York has been released.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says that the Onondaga County Medical Examiner has positively identified the victim as Baron Zimmerman.

Zimmerman was the owner of the home located on Heidelberg Road, Drive 37 which caught fire last Thursday morning, April 28, 2016.

The cause of the fire appears to have been accidental.  In a written release Sheriff Rob Maciol says the fire is believed to have started in a wood stove.

Zimmerman was identified through dental records.
