It's been a little over a year since Kevin Ward Jr was killed during a race in Canandaigua after being hit by Tony Stewart. His parents, Pam and Kevin Ward want 'justice for my son' and have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Stewart. They sat down with ABC's Paula Faris to speak out about the crash that claimed his life

The Ward's feel Tony acted recklessly on the track that fateful day. "There were six other cars that passed my son while he was on the track. Yet we have the best NASCAR driver in the world sliding his car sideways. I feel he tried to intimidate Kevin and throw dirt at him and he ended up hitting and killing my son," Pam says.

A grand jury didn't file any charges against Stewart after a toxicology report showed Ward had marijuana in his system. A report Pam Ward isn't buying. "I do not believe my son was impaired.

Ward's parents claim Tony "lost his temper" and "purposely gunned his engine while under caution."

When asked if they felt Tony Stewart killed their son dad replied, "yes I do. Tony gets to race every weekend. My son will never get to race again. There's no doubt Tony knew what he was doing."
