Recalling some of my earliest memories of television when we had four channels and the remote was us kids getting up to change the channel, one of my fondest memories was the Jerry Lewis Telethon held on Labor Day Weekend.   Year after year, Jerry Lewis hosted this telethon and presented a goal for my siblings and I...to stay up and watch it in it's entirety.  Never made it, but by gosh we gave it our all and that's what counts.  It was also fun going door to door (when it was safe to go door to door) and collecting spare change to donate to Jerry's cause.  Jerry...I tip my hat to you for all you have done.  For 45 years you have selflessly donated your heart, and your time to this worthwhile cause.  For this I say thank you for a job well done.  We will miss you in this role.  Some mighty big shoes to fill here, but glad to hear that you will still be active in your fight against MD.
