Local graduate Jade Mason needs help continuing her education abroad. She's hoping to study in Africa next year to learn more about exotic animals, and how to treat them.

Mason graduated from Adirondack High School last year and is currently attending SUNY Delhi for their vet program. Delhi offers a study abroad trip every January to Africa for only 10 students, and she was selected as one of the students to head there.

While there we work with many different exotic animals like lions, hippos, giraffes, zebras, etc. We also visit a less fortunate village and vaccinate their dogs and cats!

The total trip will cost Mason $7000. She set up a GoFundMe to help raise funds. She isn't trying to get the whole $7000 either, she's only hoping to raise $2500 and take out a loan for the rest.

Are you willing to help out with such a great cause?
