Got Price Chopper Fuel Points? Time to Cash Them In

If you've been hanging onto your Price Chopper/Market 32 AdvantEdge Rewards points to save a few bucks at the gas pump, don't wait much longer.

Price Chopper and Market 32 are ending their longtime partnership with Sunoco on August 1, which means you'll need to use any fuel rewards you've built up by the end of the month if you want those discounts at participating stations.

After that, those gas savings are going away.

What's Happening to Your Points?

The good news is your AdvantEdge Rewards program isn't going anywhere.

You'll still earn points when you shop—typically one point for every dollar spent on qualifying purchases—and those points can be redeemed for discounts on groceries and other eligible in-store purchases.

There will also continue to be bonus point promotions and other reward opportunities throughout the year.

So instead of thinking about your points as "gas money," Price Chopper wants customers to start thinking of them as a way to lower their grocery bill.

Don't Let Those Fuel Savings Go to Waste

If you've been saving up points for a road trip or just waiting until your tank was on empty, now's the time to use them.

Once August begins, you won't be able to redeem AdvantEdge Rewards for fuel discounts at participating Sunoco stations anymore.

If you've got points sitting in your account, filling up before the end of the month could save you a little extra cash before the program disappears for good.
