Remember how New York put a law into affect that banned tinted windows? You can find ways to...avoid that law.

The New York law that went into effect on January 1, 2017. What the law pretty much stated was that with passenger cars the windshield and side windows cannot block more than 30% of the light. This law also applies to the rear window of a vehicle if it has been classified as a 'passenger car' unless you have a side mirror on each side of your car.

WRRV put together a list of ways and reasons that you can get around the law and get an exemption, keep in mind, these are all listed as medical reasons and you will need a form signed by your doctor, physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
