High Heat Likely Ending CNY Strawberry Picking Season Early

If you were thinking of going strawberry picking at Swistak's, Candella's, Tassleberry's or some other U-pick field, you may want to take that trip in the next two days as the impending extreme heat wave coming this weekend is likely to take a toll on the crops.

Normally the season ends early July anyway, but 5 days of 90-plus temps are sure to put the lid on it! Either way, blueberries will be ready to pick by mid-July, so hopefully that'll be on schedule!
