Hey Where Did The Road Go? [Photos]

On my way to breakfast on Sunday morning this is what I encountered. I'm glad I wasn't driving! 

We live in a beautiful area but sometimes it does get a little scary. I only moved here from Oneonta but I just didn't encounter tricky roads like this very often. When you live in town, then move to the wide open country, you encounter more extreme weather conditions. In this area it seems to common place. I think it's the wind where I live that makes it most difficult. White outs and drifting snow in the roads. I'm sure it's impossible to keep up with for the highway departments. Kudos to them for doing their best with whats available to them.

I found the pictures I took beautiful. To me it looks like the ocean waves (snap out of it Cindy! It's not.) Only its snow. I think I may need a vacation if the snow is looking like the ocean to me. The wind makes some beautiful designs. It also does some damage to homes and farms.

Let's just remember that spring and summer are just around the corner. Fishing, Kayaking, taking the dog's for walks and beautiful starry night's! This pic is from my garden and I can't wait to grow some more!
