Normally I would argue that there is nothing like the original tune, but covering a song and doing it well is an art in and of itself, especially when you're toying with arguably the greatest rock song of all time. And if that wasn't pressure enough, sprinkle in that the original band is looking on while you do it: That was the stage set for Heart as they sang Stairway to Heaven in tribute for Led Zeppelin's crowning at the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors.

Ann Wilson's pipes alone are still crazy good after all of these years, but factor in Jon Bonham's son on drums, an orchestra and two choirs and you'll understand why Robert Plant was moved to tears while watching his own song played before him.
