‘Hamilton’ the Musical Is Coming to Central New York

Although dates have yet to be nailed down, Famous Artists announced that “Hamilton: An American Musical" will come to Syracuse during the 2020-2021 season. The play's mastermind, Lin-Manuel Miranda (pictured) won 11 Tony Awards in 2016 for the original Broadway production about the life of one of America's Founding Fathers, and one of the inaugural trustees of Hamilton College.

The play's musical score incorporates hip hop, R&B, pop, soul, and traditional show tunes. Over one million soundtracks have been sold worldwide and songs from "Hamilton" have been streamed hundreds of millions of times.
