Halloween Is Exactly 100 Days Away From Today With Full Moon and Extra Hour of Sleep
If you looked at the calendar at the beginning of the year and you were looking to see what day of the week Halloween fell on, you were probably pretty excited to learn that Halloween falls on a Saturday this year. There will also be a full moon on Halloween this year, and that's the night we set our clocks back.
So think about that, it's a Saturday, you can go to Halloween parties and stay late if you'd like, there will be a full moon to put you in the Halloween spirit, and you would get an extra hour sleep that night because of Daylight Savings. But now, with the Coronavirus pandemic, God only knows what we will be able to do come October 31st.
According to USA Today, in a recent survey only 27% of parents plan said they still plan to take their kids trick-or-treating this year. I don't envy the parents that are going to have to tell their kids that they can't go trick-or-treating this year.
Again, we are 100 days away from Halloween and in that time things may be better or maybe worse with the Coronavirus pandemic. Not to mention some parts of the United States could be doing much better than others in regards to Covid-19.
The 2020 Halloween weekend could have been awesome if not for the virus.
I know I will still load up on candy regardless, just in case, and if kids don't come to my house trick-or-treating, that just means I'll be eating the candy well into the middle of November.
