Do you love the show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” with Guy Fieri? If so you might find yourself wanting to sample some of the greasy goodness he showcases on his show. Well if you plan on heading down to New York City any time soon stop on by at Fieri's new Times Square restaurant Guy's American Kitchen & Bar. Actually, you might not want to after reading The New York Times.

The New York Times completely ripped the the Food Network star's eatery which recently just opened in the Big Apple. In a scathing review, Pete Wells asks:

"Why is the kind of cooking you celebrate on television...treated with so little respect at Guy's American Kitchen & Bar? Is the entire restaurant a very expensive piece of conceptual art? Is the shapeless, structureless baked alaska that droops and slumps and collapses while you eat it, or don’t eat it, supposed to be a representation in sugar and eggs of the experience of going insane?”

Wells calls the food "inedible," "overcooked" and "ruinous." He says the watermelon margarita "glows like nuclear waste" and "tastes like some combination of radiator fluid and formaldehyde."

You can read the full review by Clicking Here. Honestly though, it's a very hard read. The entire review is written in questions. Litterally, every sentence in this two page review is asking Guy a question.

Wells gives the restaurant a "poor" rating with a "chaotic" atmosphere. Here's the full report card:
