Grilling On Memorial Day On My Father’s Day Present

Like many Americans I fired up the grill yesterday. It's a Memorial Day tradition for a lot of families, my included.

What made this year different, is I fired up a brand new grill for the first time in over decade. Honestly I can't remember the last time I bought a brand new grill. But this was not just any new grill. This was my father's day present. My wife has wanted a new grill for some time. She has spent the last two years researching grills online, reading every review and every specification. She finally made her decision; a Char-Broil 500. I love it! First of all, I didn't have to assemble it, it came assembled! Second, it has four burners, enough to grill for the entire family and a few friends. And third, it's shinny! Although this was my Father's Day present, and I will be the one to use it the most, I have a feeling my wife bought this so she wouldn't have to cook!
