To honor the Maine-Endwell Little League World Champions, Governor Cuomo announces 'Champions Day' at The Great New York State Fair

Maine-Endwell is the first New York team to win the Little League World Championship since 1964 and will be honored at a special ceremony Thursday, September 1 at Chevy Court. They'll be awarded the Sportsmanship Award, will serve as Grand Marshals of the Special Day Parade at 6:00 p.m., enjoy a catered dinner and be celebrated on the stage at Chevy Court before the 8:00 p.m. concert by Flo Rida. They will then enjoy the Fair and will have unlimited ride wristbands from the Wade Shows Midway.

Governor Cuomo says: "The young players of the Maine-Endwell Little League Team represent the very best of our state, and we are so proud of them for bringing a world championship home to New York for the first time in over 50 years.The team deserves not only our praise but a day at the Fair dedicated to celebrating their success and the entire Maine-Endwell community."
