Getting Married In Cinderella’s Castle Can Be Quite Pricey

I guess it could be any young girl's dream to get married to her prince charming at the happiest place on earth, Disney World, but before you do that, make sure prince charming really is a prince and has the kind of money that is usually associated with royalty.  

I nearly fell out of my chair when I read this.  I knew that a trip to Disney was expensive, trust me, I know first hand, but I had absolutely no idea what the cost would be to have a wedding inside Cinderella's castle located in the center of the Magic Kingdom in Florida.

You ready for this?  According to today.com, the minimum cost to have a wedding in front of the castle is $75,000.  Yikes, that's a lot of dreams, right?

According to a Park Representative:

To have your ceremony in front of the castle, which allows for just 100 people and a ceremony time of 9:30 a.m. sharp, there is a $25,000 minimum fee. That's excluding food and beverage and other expenditure minimums, which total the $75,000. This, again, is for the ceremony alone. You can't have your reception in the same location.

My daughter loves Disney and just about anything about Disney.  So far she has not mentioned having her wedding there.  Maybe it's best that thinks that it is not an option.  Niagara Falls here we come!
