Gateway Properties Sells The Buffalo Head Restaurant

A landmark local restaurant has been sold once again.

Gateway Properties of Upstate New York has sold the Buffalo Head Restaurant in Forestport Station to Kevin Asaro of Rome.

The 300-seat restaurant is located just off of Routes 12 and 28.

Gateway Properties Owner/Broker Nicholas Polce says he's happy the landmark location will once again be operational and he wishes the Asaro family the best of luck.

“With their experience and knowledge of the restaurant industry, I am sure they will do tremendously,” said Polce.

Asaro plans to open in June.

The restaurant has been closed since 2017.
