Have you noticed something going on in the world of fast food?  Seems like many of them are changing the way they prepare food, and it is definitely for the better.

Most recently, Taco Bell announced that all items containing artificial colors and flavors will be off if its menu by year’s end.  What that means for you and I, is the Tex-Mex style cuisine that you may already be used to, may soon look very very different.  I for one, hope the taste is not affected.

Taco Bell is making a gamble that more customers will be appreciative of the natural coloring and flavoring and continue to enjoy the food that made them famous.

Pizza Hut has made a similar claim that they will also be eliminating the artificial colors and flavors.

Why all of the changes?  Maybe you remember that recently Panera came up with their “No No List” that pretty much planned to eliminate more than 150 artificial ingredients by the end of 2016 – mostly in a quest to make us more healthy.

It’s being called a food revolution because more and more consumers are becoming more and more conscious about what they are ingesting, and they want to be healthier.

What do you think folks?  Has this been a long time coming?  Are you more curious about what you are buying and putting in your and your family’s diet?
