You've seen the movies: extravagant tea parties with beautiful china dishes and cups, surrounded by kettles of tea, sandwiches, scones, and cake. Legend has it that afternoon tea was started in the mid-1800s by the Duchess of Bedford. The term "High Tea" was coined as more of a working-class family meal than it was an elite social gathering.

You now have the opportunity to attend your own tea party thanks to a delicious spot in Clinton!
