In West Winfield, it was -18 on February 1, 2019, but it won't last long as the National Weather Service is calling for temperatures in the 50's on Monday and Tuesday.

It's going to feel like Summer on Monday as a  warm front moves into the area, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Monday through Wednesday The NWS says CNY looks to continue to be firmly in the warm sector...We continue to nudge high temperatures upward on Monday with some 50`s a good bet for most of the region with continued warm air advection, (temperatures will) likely end up warmer...

The high on Monday in Syracuse is forecast to be 53 degrees, with partial sun. That’s 70 degrees warmer than today’s lowest wind chill of 17 below zero.
