Cuomo Orders Flags Lowered To Half-Staff in Honor Of The 20 Lost Lives In Limo Crash
Governor Cuomo has ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff until all the victims of this tragic limo accident in Schoharie NY have been buried.
WIBX reports the accident happened Saturday, October 6th, 2018 just after 2 p.m. State and Federal officials are in possession of the airbag control module, which would be considered the vehicle's black box. The post-crash data is being analyzed, and interviews are still being conducted.
The friends and family in the limo were on their way to Brewery Ommegang to celebrate newlywed Amy Steenburg’s 30th birthday.
State Police have officially released the names of the victims killed, including the driver.
