Humidity and above average temperatures expected tomorrow along with the potential for heavy storms and gusty winds ahead of a weak cold front moving into the area.

A cold front will move through the area Tuesday into Tuesday evening. Thunderstorms are expected along the front with a few possibly strong which could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Wet soil conditions may allow for some minor flooding issues to develop, such as ponding of water on roadways and other low lying areas. River flooding is not expected.

National Weather Service (NWS) out of Binghamton says:

A slow moving cold front will move through the area late tonight.  We'll see showers and t-storms during the morning hours, especially from I-81 west. Instability builds
through the day, as we will be under a warm, moist SSW flow. Overall, the set up still looks marginally favorable for brief heavy rains and possibly gusty winds with some of the storms... It may not take much rainfall to create minor hydrologic issues, such as ponding of water on roadways and other low lying areas. Total rainfall amounts look to range from about a half inch to one inch...but locally higher amounts are possible. Despite the clouds, showers and t-storms around...the deep southerly flow should still allow temperatures to reach 68-75 in most locations Tuesday afternoon, this is about 5
to 10 degrees above average.
