The newest species at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo will grow to be almost as long as I am tall. Yea, think about that! Her name is Naga and she's a 6-year-old Komodo dragon.

County Executive Ryan McMahon and Zoo Director Ted Fox announced the newest animal Friday, according to CNYCentral. Fox said Naga, which means "dragon" in Indonesian, is not even full-grown yet at 35 pounds.

"This species is so impressive.... Full-grown female Komodos can weigh up to 150 pounds, while males average 180 to 200 pounds."
