Centro To Test New Day Pass In Utica
Centro Bus will be launching a new Day Pass option for its Utica customers beginning on Monday, May 16th.
The Day Pass, which Centro plans to test for six months, will allow customers to have unlimited rides over a 24-hour period for one price.
Day Passes will only be sold on Centro buses and customers must request the pass before inserting money into the farebox. The cost of the day pass will be $5 for adults and $2.50 for persons who qualify for reduced fairs.
“If you need to make multiple trips on Centro buses throughout the day, the Day Pass is a great option. With this Pass, our customers can get on and off our buses as many times as they want over a 24-hour period - all for one price,” said Centro Chief Executive Officer Richard Lee. “We received feedback from our customers that they would like some type of unlimited ride pass. We feel the Day Pass fulfills this need. The Day Pass is also a great option for people visiting our city,” Lee added.
