Casey Anthony Found Not Guilty in Daughter Caylee’s Death
After deliberating for 10 hours and 40 minutes, a jury found Casey Anthony not guilty in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.
The seven-woman, five-man jury found the 25-year-old Anthony not guilty after a more than six-week long trial, CNN reported.
Anthony, who openly wept in the Florida courtroom as the verdict was read Tuesday, was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child and four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer in Caylee's 2008 disappearance and death.
While Anthony was found not guilty of the murder, child abuse and manslaughter charges, she was found guilty on the providing false information charges.
Anthony is set to be sentenced on Thursday at 9 a.m. ET.
